Ho,wever with my heart condition I am very worried about my cardiomyopathy. Will this symptoms pass or should I cease the use of this drug. Anything you could do to answer my question would be fantastic. The pain is better which is great, but this week I have felt deeply depressed and don t know if this will pass. Can you help me please? Thankyou Wanda
cymbalta that is duloxetine is a very valuable drug in treatment of diabetic neuropathy. in fact it is one of the best in its class. the drug is a neural toner and modifies the action potential and lowers the resting membrane potential thereby remarkable reducing the irritability of the nerves. it does not cure the neuropathy but relives the symptoms. along with this it has additional effects on all nerves thereby reducing appetite and consequently weight. reduction in urine output is due to SIADH induced effect but not a reason to worry as it is reversable. use insulin to treat ur diabetes and keep ur sugars under control with ALA supplements and usually in a year the nerves gets better and u can stop the cymbalta. moreover loss of weight helps reduce insulin resistance thereby helping ur diabetes control. God Bless.
