What Causes Diarrhea After An Accident?

I was in a car accident almost 8 weeks ago and now when I eat I get diarrhea. Before I only went every 3 to 4 days. I cant get to my regular Dr cause I am out of state helping my mom rehab from the accident. I did break 5 ribs if that has anything to do with it

I really appreciate your concern, the history of accident and present history of diarrhea are not related with each other, here the diarrhea could be due to dyspepsia if not associate with any other symptoms like abdomen pain, sick feel, fatigue, and if these are there then it could be intestinal infection, without infection diarrhea may not need any treatment and it is the self limiting condition but in case of infection Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day can be tried for five days, but here it seems to be self limiting condition and no need to worry about it, jut be patient it will be fine soon hope this information helps.
