What Causes Diarrhea After Getting A Trulicity Injection?

I have taken 2 injections of Trulicity, one week apart. The first dose I didn t notice anything different. After the 2 dose I have had diarrhea, soured stomach, stomach muscle fluttering on my right side just below rib cage and dizziness. Is this a typical side affect? Why did I not see it after the first dose?

Hi
Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health issues.

Yes diarrhea is typical side effect of liraglutide. Are you taking any other medication for diabetes or this is the only medication? You can seek advice to change it. There are many other option available for diabetes mellitus.
In my opinion you must consult treating physician regarding this side effect ans ask to change the medication without much affecting blood glucose level.

Regards
Dr. Hiren
