What Causes Diarrhea And Bloating After Drinking Coffee?
Earlier today I had a coffee from McDonald s. After that, I experienced the worst bloating ever. I passed stools at least 5 times today which is odd but when I do this clear (sometimes yellow) liquid comes out. It s slimy and it smells. Is this from the coffee or is it a sign of something I should get checked out?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of having coffee at McDonald's and then started loose stools, at least 5 times today, watery and clear with yellow tinge sometimes, The stools are slimy and it smells. Such a situation does not come with coffee. This is indicative of an intestinal infection. I would advise you the following: Get the stool, blood and urine checked. Get started with a suitable antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotics. Take plenty of oral fluids to avoid dehydration. These measures should solve your problems.
