What Causes Diarrhea And Blood In Stool?

my son in law has had diahorrea since last thursday he is an AA man and the day before he push a car by himself up a steep hill he had the snip in october. he is pooping blood even by just drinking water this has now been going on for 6 days cant eat or drink terrible pain in middle lower abdomin

Hi,
Your son is having Dysentery, It is a type of gastroenteritis that results in diarrhea with blood.Symptoms may include fever, abdominal pain, and a feeling of incomplete defecation. Dysentery can be fatal and can also cause death due to dehydration if the lost fluids from the body is not replaced quickly.a STOOL TEST SHOULD BE DONE TO FIND OUT IF ITS BACTERIAL OR PROTOZOAL.
Treatment for dysentery
Rehydration therapy-electrolyte disbalance should be taken care of.
Amoebicidal drugs or antibiotics once cause is diagnosed.
