Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
TWice in the last 6 months I have gotten what I think is a stomach flu. Diarrhea, body aches. This last time included yellow bile type vomit. I’m 63 and have thrown up a total of 4 times in my life, so not a norm for me. Can these symptoms be something other than a flu?

Diarrhea usually caused by acute viral/ bacterial gastroenteritis or irritable bowel syndrome or food poisoning or infections or lactose intolerance or malobsorption syndromes etc
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.
Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Use probiotic tablet twice a day for five days.
