What Causes Diarrhea And Fever?

My children have been having diarrhea and abdominal pain for four weeks now.
My oldest 8yrs. had it first and I thought it was just the flu with fever, chills, headache and diarrhea and nausea.
The next week my 5yr. old got it, while my oldest was still having the diarrhea every few days and compiling of stomach pain.
Less than weeks later, my five yr.old has it again. In the past week has had fever (101-102), chills, vomiting and started last night with diarrhea that is watery and yellow. His brother is still having the same problem with the loose bowls and stomach pain and the headaches.
