What Causes Diarrhea And Headache After Having C-section?

Hi I had a c-section a week ago. I was prescribed stool a stool softener and had my first bowel movement on Wednesday( today is Saturday) I have had BM everyday since but yesterday & today I had diarrhea and experienced an intense headache afterwards. It is the worst pain. Should I go to emergency room?

hi,assuming that you have had a c section under spinal anesthesia,you should not be using a pillow and drink plenty of water as it can be something called as a spinal headache.for instant relief take tab paracetamol 500 mg.for diarrhea take sporolac sachets twice a day for 3 days.all will be good and you need not go to the emergency room.take care and all the best.
