My 98-year-old friend Helen has been ill for the past few days with diarrhea and vomiting. She has had congestive heart failure in the past and takes coumadin (sp) along with blood pressure medicine (stabilized at 120/74). Otherwise she is in great health both physically and mentally. A pharmacist has recommended that she take pediasure to replace lost fluids but she is concerned about combining this with her meds. Please advise and thank you!
