What Causes Diarrhea While On Prednisone?

Age 46 5'4". RA Asthma on DMARDS
I have been I'll with asthma and my MD put me on augmenting and higher prednisone than usual as I normally have to take 5 mg.
I once went into pulmonary arrest.
The past two nights I have been having explosive oily orange/yellow diarrhea starting at 2 am.
I am weak.
