What Causes Diarrhea While On Wellbutrin And Celexa?

I have been on Wellbutrin XL 300mg, Celexa 60mg for quite some time (over 5 yrs.). I ve been having problems w ith diarrhea. Which one of these has that specific side effect. Also, I have just been prescribed Rexulti. How concerned should I be with the adverse effects of taking this?

Hello,

Both the medications could result in some amount of diarrhea. If it has not normalised over the 5 years, it may be worthwhile to get yourself evaluated by general physician for other causes of diarrhea, unrelated to the medication you are taking.

With Rexulti medicine, you have another multitude of side effects. But, fear not, I am sure your doctor considered the benefits of the medication to far outweigh the side effects.

You may find yourself being agitated, unable to sit still or be overcome by urges. Make sure you go to your doctor. It may be a good idea to tell someone close to you as well so they can help.
