What Causes Diarrhea With Abdomen Cramps And Rumbling Sound?

I have had diahrrea for 3 days - no fever and vomiting -stomach cramps the first day and just rumbling after. How long will this stay and what should I do to treat it. I have been drinking liquids and eating cream potatoes. Drinking rice water also.

No need to worry, normal bowel movements produced sounds called borborygmi.

Will see what will happen in diarrhea
1 . there is excessive fluid in the intestines in diarrhoea second there is strong intestinal contractions in diarrhea which move intestinal contents forcibly. These excess fluid and force intestinal contractions make more bubbling sound with louder intensity. It is not uncommon for the bubbling to precede the urge to pass stool and persist while having a diarrheal bowel movement

2 . due to diarrhea normal flora replaced by gas forming organism produce more gas cause rumbling.
3.intestinal epithelia not ready to obsorb due to damage accure by toxin or bacteria so it won't produce sucrase, Maltese, lactase and intestinal peptides so again these product won't obsorb and utilized by gas forming organism cause rumbling.
