What Causes Diarrhea With Bloody Stool?

I am a teenager, and last night and this morning I had diarrhea, with blood and mucus as well. The cause of the diarrhea I m almost certain is from my enormous appetite last night, consisting of loads of junk food. I ve never had blood in my stool, and also, I did not hear any strange sounds which some people reported with blood in stool (sounds of tearing, etc.). The blood was bright red and not dried, and there was only enough to mix with the mucus. I don t have a family history of any sort of diseases that could cause this, and I don t know if I should be worried or not. I am going to see my doctor ASAP of course. Thanks

Hi first of all nothing to be worried about if it is just tinge of amount with mucus. Considering the history I think you might be suffering from dysentry which might settle with antibiotics..If the blood loss continues and amount is significant please do visit a nearby doctor...thank
