What Causes Diarrhea?

My mother is experiencing a change in how her bowel movements look. She has lost control of her bladder and bowel, but now her bowel seems to come out loose and she describes it looks like small thinner pieces, like enlarged hairs, wiggly and lots of them at a time and very dark brown. She has this happen sometimes 3 or 4 times a day.

Stringy poop may be due to colorectal malignancy or fecal impaction, colon polyps trapped abdominal hernias, anorectal strictures, or a narrowing between the rectum and anus distended, or stretched.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care
