What Causes Diarrhoea And Abdominal Bloating During Menopause?
I m a 46 year old very healthy female who has just entered menopause. In the past year I have developed difficulty digesting certain foods which has resulted in nausea, diarrhea and at times vomiting. I don t feel bloated but just the general sense that the food is not being digested. This is mostly with red meats and sausage as well as anything rich and creamy or sometimes fried so I ve stayed away from those items and have started taking prilosec under a doctor s order. Another thing is that I m not comfortable sleeping laying flat and have to sleep propped up, not because I feel acid reflux or a burning sensation but because it just feels generally uncomfortable. Had a full ultrasound and blood work and all looks good so far, including gall bladder. Any thoughts?
