What Causes Difficulty Breathing With History Of Chest Pain?

31-year-old female, 5 0 , 55kg, with history of severe left chest pain for more than a month now, unable to freely move left hand due to the pain also not able to sneeze though sneeze is initiated but not able to complete it, as it is stopped in half way. Also difficulty breathing deeply, sometimes have to stop and take a long breathe then move on.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you are having musculoskeletal cause mostly for your symptoms.
But better to rule out cardiac cause first for left sided chest pain.
So get done ECG to rule out cardiac cause.
If its normal then no need to worry much.
It is due to musculoskeletal cause.
Try to follow these steps.
1. Avoid heavyweight lifting.
2. Avoid strenuous exercise.
3. Avoid movements causing pain.
4. Take good pain killer and muscle relaxant.
5. Apply warm water pad on affected site.
6. Start left shoulder physiotherapy.
