Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband went for a jog and now is having trouble breathing. Not serious, but is just not able to breathe fully. Is there anything he can do? Oh he is in Mexico and doesn't usually run. He works out regularly, but not jogging. He is 37 and 195 lbs.
The possibility is deconditioning, since he is not accustomed to such activities he may get this. Does he have chest pain or heaviness on exertion, is there wheezing, is there a history of cardiac illness. At this point if time if he is not any other symptoms the likely cause is deconditioning. Gradually increasing the exercise protocol will help.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sagar Makode
