What Causes Difficulty In Completing Thoughts And Sentences In An Elderly Person?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This could be just a normal bit of forgetting or it could be a sign of something more serious like stroke or dementia beginning. It would be good for him to see a doctor for an exam and some blood tests to make sure there is nothing like thyroid disorder.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
