What Causes Difficulty In Conceiving Despite Taking Progynova And Duphaston?
Hello, My weight is 67kg,im 26yrs old women married for 15months now i had a miscarraige in feb2011 in 6weeks since then i din t conceive we have been trying for long time now,we had sperm analysis for my husband which shows 50millions spermse,and motality was 30% i consulted one gyna in mumbai she checked me then she told to start medicine for me as well as my husbnd for 3 months rejuspermin and ubi q 300 one tab each day for my husband and for me she gave me b-long f daily and from my 3rd day of periods siphene 100mg for 5days following with progynova for 7days twice a day then from 16th -25th duphaston i have very much regular periods i have never had problems in past for periods she told us to continue the medicines for 3months then if nothing will happen then go for advance treatment this is my first month today is my21st day of cycle i have 28-29 day cycle wht do you suggest doctor is it right to go for this treatment as im worried i will gain more weight also im desperate for a child bcoz of previous loss it hurts me a lot... i have read your query and i understand.
there are many different causes of difficulty in conceiving. it could be with your husband or with you or both of you. However, from what you say, am assuming his spermogram was normal.
the treatment you received was to enhance ovulation and survival of the egg cell once released. I do not know if the gyne did conduct detail investigations.
However, there are some basic things to do such as your basal body temperature daily for a few months, to understand your fertile period which should be around day 14 of your cylce and to have effective number of sexual intercourse. After these, more detail investigations such as hysterosalpingogram, hormones tests etc could be done.
