hello doctor patta. For the past three days i was having touble pooping and i took align, merilax and align did not help but merilax did. During this time my entire back was hurting from top to bottom all the way up to my neck. I was able to poop today but not my pain has shifted to the right side of my lower/mid back. I also keep shifting from high fever and then no fever. I also have been vomitting alot lately, when i was having the poop problem i onyl vomitted at night once, but since the right side of my back has been hurting i vomit even if i drink water, i have not eaten anything since this pain and if i just drink water or eat something i vomit. what could this be?
You may have an improper position during defecation which may cause back pain and pain along the spine. Also symptoms possibility of diverticulitis or stomach flu with constipation. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use syrup lactulose at night after dinner. Eat a high fiber diet and drink plenty of liquids. Avoid excessive straining during defecation, flexion at the hip joint flexion at the knee with the fetal position during defecation is useful. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
