hi, sir i want to ask some details for my mom. . . for the past four years she cant take solid food.... her age is 47, height 5.4 , weight 30, she have undergone 5times endoscopy in appolo hospital but results are normal.. AT PRESENT she taking ayurvedic medicines can take only liquid items. . if she takes seerakadhirishtam can take grinded rice of one to two tumblers with spoon..
I would like to know whether any other tests has been done and what are the results. Also, what is the opinion of the gastroenterologist. difficulty in eating solid foods is usually due to obstruction in the food pipe or something pressing on it from outside. If all other causes has been ruled out then she need to be evaluated by a psychiatrist.
