What Causes Difficulty In Urinating?

Hello Dr., For the past 25 years I m having some difficulty urinating in the morning, no problem during the night I don t have to get up to go to the bathroom. During the day, I have no problem urinating unless I sit down for 2 or more hours then I will have weak stream. I m 63 y.o.m. for the past 15 years I go for routine exam on yearly basis: normal psa level always between 0.4 and 0.8 and digital exam is normal with no indication of prostate enlargement. All my other blood and urine work are normal. Could you please advice with some suggestions. Thank you. Sam

dear sam,
according to the informations you have given, your prostate appears to be fine. when you do the ultrasound abdomen next time , request radiologist to check residual urine in bladder (post void ).
get urine routine or culture sensitivity done, to rule out urinary tract infection.
