What Causes Difficulty In Urination?

I just turned 45 and for some time now, I have had slight difficulty starting urination. Sometimes I feel that my bladder is not empty and I have to go again. I had a vasectomy 17 years ago and have had my prostate checked before, no problems found. It has been a while since my last prostate exam, should I go get it checked? I also drink about 3-4 cups of coffee a day, should I change my habits?

Hi, thank you for asking healthcare magic
I understand your concerns
With this presentation, it is possible to think that your may be having urinary obstruction. This can be caused by an increase in the size of prostate or narrowing of the urethra.
In my opinion, I would suggest you check your prostate again by doing an ultrasound and another test called PSA (prostate specific antigen).
You do not need to change your habit. It is unlikely for coffee to cause these symptoms.

I hope I have answered your query
I wish you well
