hi,
I understand your concern.
You had severe bleeding , Fortunately there was no harm to the baby.
Now you have heavy
vaginal discharge with occasional spotting.
The bleeding in first three months of
pregnancy is mostly due to
hormone deficiency. That is managed well by Sustain 400 twice a day.
The discharge you have may be due to-
- remaining blood in
uterus which is being dropped out in form of dark coloured discharge/ spotting,.
-the increased vaginal secretions indicate infection- ( which may follow poor genital hygiene these days). The infection itself may cause occasional spotting. A vaginal swab testing would indicate type of infecting organism
.This should be followed by specific treatment of the infection.
Consult your doctor & get specific treatment as per investigation report.
- Such patients are advised to have
bed rest till 3.5 months of pregnancy.
- Take physical/psychological rest/ have easy to digest nutritious food/ maintain genital cleanliness/ take medicines as per doctor's advise.
Please don't worry, patient management of the condition often gives positive results.
Thanks.
