What Causes Discharge From Breast?

My name is Kayla and I had a miscarriage June 10,2014 after I had a d&c my breasts started leaking milk. Its been almost a year now and m and my bf are trying to have a baby. I noticed my boobs are leaking again and it has never done that since a year ago. I was wondering if something is wrong or what it could be.

hi.. regarding this problem of milk secretion..through breasts .. you need to get the levels of serum prolactin and thyroid profile done. ... because low thyroid hormone levels can. raise prolactin levels .. then raised prolactin can cause the secretion ...prolactin and thyroid levels if abnormal would affect your menstrual cycke ..so how are your periods .. is it regular ... or delayed .. how much is menstrual flow is it scanty/regular /heavy... regarding your concern for conception .... if prolactin levels are raised ... it affects egg formation ...also an . ultrasound of pelvis would be needed to rule out poly cystic ovaries.. any significant weight gain in past 1year. would affect the conception chances ... so it's better to evaluate step by step to reach the final diagnosis
