Hello, I have no wax in rt ear and very little in the left. I wake up with water/liquid in rt ear and sometimes in left. I used to have plenty of wax but not anymore. My right ear is constantly in need of swabbing for excess liquid. It is similar to leaving the pool and having water in ears.
Ear discharge is due to the perforation of ear drum or external canal infection. The water accumulated in the middle ear passes out in the form of ear discharge. I advise you to consult an ENT doctor immediately and get the appropriate treatment through medication(initial)/ surgery(chronic).
All the best.
