Hi,
First intercourse in a virgin results in tearing of a thin layer of mucus membrane on her vaginal orifice that leads to such bleeding. The bleeding is mostly moderate, lasting for few hours. It's needed to keep the part clean and dry. The bleeding would stop automatically. There is nothing to worry about. Few girls can get profuse bleeding for more days. This needs medical attention. She has to consult a gynecologist and get needful treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
