What Causes Discoloration And Burning While Urinating?

I am a 30 year old male. Urine started turning pinkish three days ago. Progressed into a red color. Color worsens by how long urine is in bladder (in morning after first waking up). On the second day I noticed red things also in urine. Almost like blood clots and tissue. Some being bright red and some being larger and a dark red. Seems like they come towards if not at the end of urination. Some times its one or two, other times there seems to be more. There isn't a burning sensation when I urinate but there has been some after I'm done that last for varying times. Some pain in abdomen that comes and goes. Some lower back pain but its hard to know if its related since I have some disk problems also in my lower back. Any thoughts?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. You are having red cell casts in urine.
2. Hematuria is being seen. Possible stone or infection needs to be evaluated. Get an ultrasound abdomen along with urine microscopy for further evaluation.
3. Disc problems might be leading to back pain. However, stones can lead to radiating back pain from the front.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
