What Causes Discoloration In Roof Of Mouth And Lumps In Throat?

I ve had a cold for a couple of days, just the normal symptoms, but I ve not been able to talk properly as I normally would be able to do whilst having a cold, I looked in my mouth and the roof of my mouth has discoloured yellowy, there s loads of veins and dozens of red lumps at the back of my throat, I m quite worried, can you try and tell me what this may be?
