I have a discoloration on my right big toe nail. It is on the right side, little darker around the edges of the spot and whiter in the middle, No pain, no change in the nail itself besides this spot. Noticed it about a month ago, really does not seem to be changing clearly but I did have polish on for a few weeks. I am thinking it is likely a bruise though there as no injury. Any thoughts?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a fungal infection. I suggest using an anti fungal cream for local application such as Clotrimazole cream. I also suggest using Fluconazole 150 mg one tablet. I recommend to use cotton socks and practice a good hygiene.
