What Causes Discoloration On The Calves And Numbness In The Legs?

I have discoloration of the calf muscle bilaterally. Tingling and numbness down both legs to the middle toe on each side. The peripheral numbness has been the most important and disturbing symptom. Past history of high sedimentation rate(100-120 consistently) and splenomegaly. I weigh 140 lbs,. and its starting to worry me about my future ability to walk/ Do you have any idea?
