Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m male, 90 years old. For about four weeks I have had discomfort behind my left knee about two inches below the joint. At times it feels like the knee will give out but it never does. Ice bags for 20 minutes help but it has not gone away. There is no swelling, no redness, nor is the area warm. I have no recollection of an injury. I walk for about 40 minutes 5 times per week and while it is uncomfortable I can do it with only a slight limp.

What Causes Discomfort Behind The Left Knee?
Hi, Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. As of now, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
