What Causes Discomfort From Right Clavicle Behind The Sternum?

I have a persistent feeling in my chest that seems like a bubble or a ball of feathers. It is about 4 inches down from my right clavicle behind my sternum. It is not heart burn (I had that when I was pregnant). This feeling has been going on about a year. Annoying, but not painful. Who (which kind of doctor) do I go to about it? Female, age 40, generally healthy.

First of all we need to what exactly that swelling is, so you ll some basic investigation like chest X ray and blood test. Further depending upon the test and examination finding you ll need test like ct scan. So first you visit general practitioner and then some specialist.
