What Causes Discomfort In Hip After Lower Back Injury?
Hello. I am an active 40 y/o female and hurt my lower back 3 weeks ago playing roller derby. When I bent down I was stuck and could not stand straight. Later my torso seemed contorted and my left hip bone looks higher. I went to the chiropractor 4 times and immediately after have some improvement. Ibuprofen helps the pain, but nothing helps the limited movement. I cannot stand normally nor can I walk normally. Everything feels tight and crooked.
Dear patient There is a possibility of minor fracture considering amount of trauma you have received. Do not neglect your health. I would advise radiograph of pelvis with both hips to rule out bony abnormalities. Take a visit to radiology center nearby you for radiograph. If it turns normal take rest for few days as it must be blunt trauma and take time to heal. And if there us a fracture you need to consult expert orthopaedic surgeon nearby you.
