What Causes Discomfort In The Throat And Chest At Nights?
My 85 year old mother complains that she is awaken every night with a sensation in her throat and upper chest area. She has tried several acid reflux medications but they do not help. She has had a couple of endoscopy procedures but nothing was revealed other than she needed her gall bladder removed (which she did but that has not relieved her throat condition). Any ideas what this could be or what she could do to relieve the discomfort?

it may be because of some heart problem. you haven't mentioned her bp n sugar levels.
