I had about 12 vials of blood drawn this morning and I ate an apple afterwards and then went on a run. I felt fine after, but now...couple hours later...I feel dizzy and nauseous, feel like I am going to pass out. Hadn't eaten anything after. Just now ate a banana, cliff bar...what's wrong?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Around 350-400 ml of blood is withdrawn during on a single blood donation. This amount of blood withdrawn will not cause any deleterious effect on the health of the donor. The dizziness is probably not due to blood donation. Feeling of vomiting can be due to some other problem like indigestion. take rest, eat something light. If the symptoms do not relive, you need to consult your primary healthcare provide.
