Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good evening, I have been on Micronor for the last 3 weeks and I am still dizzy, feel like my brain is buzzing when I move my eyes and I am VERY irritable, intolerant and unable to deal with stress.......is it going to go away with time or I should stop taking it now? I am 39 years old and using this pill to regulate menstrual cycle ( 21 days ) and reduce associated pain.....Thank you!
Early or late period, nausea and dizziness can occur with the drug. Since the hormone levels gets altered during the drug use, your body might require some time to get adjusted to the new levels. You may continue the drug until the course is completed. In case of severe symptoms, the drug should be stopped. Consider switching to other brands and watch for similar symptoms.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
