What Causes Dizziness Along With Blurred Vision And Palpitations?

Hi, I have had influenza A recently. Yesterday evening I was starting to feel better. This morning when I woke up I was very dizzy and lost control of my eyes. Sounds weird but it was like I was being spun around and around and I couldn t stop my eyes from spinning, and my heart was racing fast so I closed my eyes until it went away. Thought it might be virtego or something? I was trying to clean up the living room a little later and when I bent over for a box it happened again and I fainted and fell. I feel very light headed, blurry vision, headache, and weak. Is this just virtego after a virus or would this be more cause for concern? Thank you for your time in this matter!

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It could be post infectious vertigo and you should get a neurologist checkup done. They will also tell you some maneuvers like epleys which help and you can start Betahistine but first a full neuro work is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
