What Causes Dizziness Along With Tingling In Arms And Spike In BP Level?
My brother felt extreme dizziness and when brought to urgent care, had his BP reading 220/125. He said he felt tingling in his arms and now, 2 weeks later still feels a little numb on his right arm and right leg. He feels a little bit of imbalance, as he describes it. The doctor he went to prescribed 2 BP meds for him but he does not remember the prescription meds. Did he have a stroke without knowing it and now has a deficit because of it? He speech is very clear except for the numbness on the right side. He is 52 yrs. old and a smoker.

Upper limit of BP at your brother.s age is 140/85
Get BP checked regularly unless it is normal
Your doctor would increase the dose of medicine
I advise for CT Head first ,then MRI Head to rule out possibility of stroke
Advise to stop smoking
