What Causes Dizziness And Blurred Vision After Taking Lisinopril?
My dr put me on lisinopril for my kidneys this is the 2nd time i have had protein in my urine, i am diabetic. i got extremely dizzy and had terribly blurry vision. He told me to stop taking it. My question is what can i take to help my kidneys he hasnt put me on anything to replace the lisinopril.
Dizziness and blurred are due to sudden fall in BP.
Indeed Lisinopril is found to be effective in the management of proteinuria especially in patients with diabetes. Since your treating doctor has asked to stop Lisinopril because of the side effects, the other group of drugs which are found to be effective in the treatment and prevention of proteinuria are ARBs like Valsartan, etc.
Hope this answers your query.
