What Causes Dizziness And Crossed Eyes After Taking An Injection For Cataract?
I had a cataract removed on Jan. 9th of this year. The doctor gave me an injection just a minute or two before removing the cataract. The injection was near my cheekbone just under the eye. Within seconds of that injection I got very dizzy and it felt like my eyes were jumping back and forth or eyes crossing. This only lasted about 30 seconds, but when it happened the doctor said to me, stop that, whats wrong with you, why are you doing that with your eyes? It was something that I could not control and really scared me. I know it was not the Versed or Fentenyol because they only gave me a small amount and the nurse gave me the sedation 20 minutes before I went into the operating room and again just before going into the OR. Do you know what could of caused this to happen?
