What Causes Dizziness And Fatigue Post Novocain Intake?

I had some dental work done which required Novocain . It was a hour and a half procedure . After the numbness wore off I started feeling very tired and a little dizzy . This lasted into the next day and I actually felt even worse . It wasn t until the next day that I started feeling better . Could these effects I experienced be attributed to the Novocain ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain dizziness and fatigue after taking Novocaine Injection can be due to a side effect of novocaine anaesthetic while it can also be due to side effect of medication it you have taken any post dental work..
In case if it is due to side effect of the anaesthetic agent it will get resolved as the effect of the anaesthetic will wean off from the body..

In case if it does not improve in 2 to 3 days it might be due to side effect of medicine if you are taking any and in that case you should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and if required he can change the medicine..
