What Causes Dizziness And Nausea After Cataract Surgery?

I had cataract surgery in October 2013. Two weeks ago I had the my first yag laser surgery and second one last week for secondary cataracts. Since my second surrgery I am experiencing much dizziness, nausea, depth perception. Mainly when I change the position of my head. Is this a side effect of the yag laser? Do I need to see my eye surgeon again? I am constantly struggling with this.

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having dizziness and nausea following cataract surgery and a Yag laser procedure.
This can be because of secondary raise of intraocular pressure caused by inflammation induced by surgery or by the laser or a combined effect of both.
This requires treatment by the use of antiinflammatory drugs and by the use of anti glaucoma drugs.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
