Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
After going through the description you have posted, it appears that you have effects related to overdose of
emergency contraceptive pill.
Sendinor 2 or
Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill. It contains
Levonorgestrel, which is a progestin. It may prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation, altering transport of sperm or eggs to prevent fertilization, or altering the lining of the uterus to prevent
implantation if fertilization occurs.
It has to be taken within 72 hours of having unprotected sex. In 3 weeks, periods should happen, which rules out the possibility of pregnancy.
Hence, there was no necessary to take such a drug again.
Some of the side effects noted with use and its over dose include:breast tenderness, changes in menstrual flow, diarrhea,
dizziness, headache, nausea, stomach pain, tiredness and vomiting.
Some of the symptoms you are already experiencing. It will take a couple of cycles to regularize. So don't be scared. Drink more of water and keep your self hydrated. You can take symptomatic treatment if any of the effects are not tolerable. Don't make such mistakes once again.
Hope the information provided is useful.
Wish you good health.
