Hello Pike!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

Your situation could be related to a viral infection or a metabolic disorder. The fact that you have not been eating well, could lead to electrolyte or vitamin deficiencies, which may exacerbate the situation. Polyradiculoneurtis can not be excluded either.
For this reason, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:
- a nerve conduction study
- complete blood count
- PCR, sedimentation rate
- blood electrolytes
- vitamin D and vitamin B12 plasma levels
- a resting ECG
- a chest X ray study.
Hope you will find this information helpful!
Best wishes!
