Im 36 weeks pregnant. I have been dizzy light headed, legs going numb and sometimes see stars for about the past 4 days. Today I have been vomiting along with the other symptoms. Should I be alarmed? I am having contractions but they are not consistent.

Hi, I understand your concern. -Dizziness along with vomiting/ seeing stars ,numbness in legs indicate blood pressure changes- it may either be low BP following vomiting/ uterine contractions & cause the symptoms. Even high blood pressure can have such symptoms ,but it's mostly accompanied by head ache& you don't have any. - The Numbness in the legs are produced as fetal head progresses down & presses on the nerves supplying legs. This is a temporary symptom & disappears after child birth * you should visit your treating doctor for checking blood pressure & progress of labor. get advise about admission & treatment. * Take plenty of fluids ,nourishing light diet,Take rest when there is pain & try to walk / deep breathing/ when pain subsides.Be positive Thanks.
