What Causes Dizziness And Panic Attack After A Pop Up Sound At The Back Of Neck?

Hello. A few days ago i heard a pop on the back of my neck and felt sore there. Half hour later i felt really dizzy and weak and had a huge panic attack for two hour. The symptomes reoccur lightly every few hours since then and i have problems breathing. What s wrong with me? I m 27, healthy, blood tests fine, anual check-up very good, i work out, i am reasonably fit. I can t get out of the house, i m affraid i ll faint!

It seems you have anxiety issue. That is what is causing all the symptoms. The pop may have been a muscle catch that gets released with a pop.

Sometimes it gives a brief pain for seconds to minutes. However, the subsequent dizziness does not sound like a cervical problem.

I think this is all panic and anxiety. So, I would suggest you to relax. Whenever possible, do visit a neurologist for your possible cervical issues.
