What Causes Dizziness And Sleepiness While Taking Brintellix?
I have been taking effexor for a year before that cymbalta for several years. I t seemed the effexor was not working so my dr. gave me Brintellix 5mg. to take .I stopped the effexor three days ago .Today I m having brain zaps constantly ,dizziness,sleepiness. Feel horrible. Should I have been weaned off the effexor while taking the brintellix?

You have taken effexor for 1year continuously.
This drug has to be withdrawn gradually. Otherwise it can cause withdrawal symptoms.
As you have stopped the drug suddenly, i think you have developed withdrawals.
You should talk to your doctor about this.
