What Causes Dizziness And Spinning In Child?

Hi I Am A 14 Year Old Female And I Have Been Having Dizzy Spells. They Make Me Feel Like A Am Shaking And Spinning. I Also Black Out And Can Not See Anything. My Legs Tend To Get Weak And I Have A Hard Time Keeping My Balance. All Though I Do Not Fall Or Faint. These Spells Usually Last Around 30 Seconds To A Minute And Arent To Bad. But Lately They Have Been Pretty Bad And Have Been Going On For About 2 Minutes. I Am Getting Scared And Have No Clue To What It Is.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Please go to your GP or Paediatrician to get yourself assessed. Of special importance would be your heartbeat, listening to your heart by sthetoscope, your blood pressure in sleeping and standing posture, your blood sugar, both fasting and 2 hours after a normal meal. If all these are normal, more tests may be needed, depending on your examination findings.
