What Causes Dizziness And Spinning Sensation In Head?

I have dizziness, somewhat like a spinning sensation in my head. My period is due in 2 days, but I am also TTC. Had sex on my ovulation day I believe. Is this spinning sensation a sign that my period is coming, or could it be an early pregnancy symptom?

Hi,

Just by symptoms you cannot come to a conclusion regarding the pregnancy. As tiredness, dizziness, etc. symptoms can be seen in premenstrual period and also during early pregnancy. According to your history, if other factors are normal, there is a possibility of pregnancy as you had unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation.

So, if you miss your periods on expected date, please go for a blood test for pregnancy to find out the possibility. If serum beta HCG levels in the blood test shows more than 5 mIU/mL, it indicates the possibility for pregnancy. If serum beta HCG levels are more than 25 mIU/mL it confirms the possibility of pregnancy.
